Changing the Primary Character rolling in Multiplayer
A suggestion: One of the great things I enjoy about the teamwork elements of the pen and paper DND is that often times, we'll change up who's doing the rolls on the fly - if my rogue discovers a tome that looks magical in nature, I'd hand it off to the sorcerer in my party to look at. I wouldn't be locked into reading the thing myself, only to fail at an arcana check that I have no reasonable chance of passing.

As it stands, whoever starts the dialogue in BG3 is always the primary roller in multiplayer, which seems counter-intuitive to the team-based nature of the game. If the players are all travelling together in proximity, I see no reason they shouldn't be able to step in as the primary roller on a given challenge during discussions and cutscenes with NPCs.

Yes, we can offer minor boons like cantrips and such to help the primary roller, but that's fundamentally lesser flexibility from what the pen and paper allows, where I can look over at the barbarian in my party and saying "Hey, this guy isn't going to crack with my little halfling bard doing the taunting, can you intimidate him for me?" It also leads to situations where you feel fundamentally hamstrung as players because you know for a fact the player that can pass the check is RIGHT THERE, but they just have no means of inputting into the conversation and taking over a roll.

My thought is simple: Allow players within a reasonable area of each other (lets say, 100m to allow just enough spreading out to not neuter any combat?) to change the primary roller in dice challenges.
