Adding a romantic Shadowheart interaction.
In act 2 in the Shadow cursed lands you find a pair of rings, True Love's Caress and True Love's Embrace which has an innate skill called warding bond which shares pain and damage when the ring is worn by two people. What I'm suggesting is that if your relationship with Shadowheart is high enough you can give her the ring in a dialogue saying that you want to share Shadowheart's pain with you to ease her burden from when Shar's curse activates or you know, just damage in regular. Whether this affects the Nightsong points or not I don't know. I'll leave that to the experts. I think adding this to the game would be very sweet and romantic. It's not like I'm a simp for Shadowheart or anything *cough**cough*

Except Shadowheart herself puts a pause to all romance during Act 2 because she is completely focused on Shar. She doesn't unpause any romance until after the choice with the Nightsong, therefore this just doesn't work.

Good point. Maybe after the whole Shar ordeal in act 2? And I know Shar's curse disappears after defeating Ketheric. So maybe it would just be a nice gesture even after the curse is gone.

How's that curse even related to Shadowheart? I thought from your OP, that you speak about her hand wound, that's also possible to see as a Shar curse, because Shar does it to her, whenever Shadowheart does something, that Shar doesn't like, she inflicts pain on her hand. But again, you were talking about the Shadow-Curse, that plagued the lands around Moonrise Towers. How is it related to Shadowheart and her romance? I would like an explanation, please? Because your post confuses me.

Killing Kethric and getting rid of the Shadow Curse is when she starts talking to us about being together again. Technically, you can start said conversation the moment you leave the Temple of Shar but if memory serves she does say something like you two will discuss your futures after handling Kethric.

Pretty sure that's what OP is stabbing at.

I think the suggestion overall would only work, narratively speaking, for a Selunite Shadowheart as a Sharranite one embraces the mark after becoming a Dark Justicar and doesn't see it as a negative. Taking away the pain of the mark at that point for Dark Sider wouldn't make any lick of sense.

Thanks for clarifying. I definitely wrote those sentences in a way that can easily be confusing haha sorry about that
