Crown Of Madness Would Be Great, But...

It almost never hits because everything in this game has great bonuses to save.

A lot of spells suffer from this fact, but I was particularly disappointed in Crown of Madness because it's the first Enchantment spell that is actually good (in theory), and especially on a Sorcerer that can cast it as a Twin spell.

But with how good saves are in this game, I only hit with it once.

I never had problems with wisdom saving throws. The mod that added Toll the Dead almost always hits since not many things have a high save bonus vs wisdom.

Also the new melee "daze" attack. I think its pommel strike, gives disadvantage to wisdom saves.

But yeah I landed it on the flind and it started wrecking faces for me. It's good when it lands

I use crown of madness on my bard and solo whole big fights... You just cast it out of range so you don't aggro and whoever you cast it on gets killed by the group
