Things have consequences!
It is good, isn`t it?
Hm... was there really a choice? I mean there was no choice not to take it once you lost your eye, was there? And the dialogue to that point... What was it again...?
Something along the lines
1. aaaaaaagh
2. graaaaaaaaaa
3. ugggdadfh
No. it is a permanent change and even outlasts the Ilithid cosmetics which is very cool.
For reference, here is the dialogue from the game scene where... you get the eye.

(I really want the VAs to say that, but it would cause a storm of comments why the MC will speak one chosen dialog and no others.)
Regenerate is 7th level. Player spellcasting goes up to 6th. Removing the Blindness condition doesn't fix disadvantages created by physical alterations.
this is especially what i think is uncool, i was trying not to give spoilers
completely ruins the look. the white in Volos eye is unnaturally white too, so it create a very uncanny effect
i could live with Volo's up to that point, but now it just looks visually awful, to the point i can't choose to accept that evolution
It's quite annoying hearing people say 'oh you made that choice, you just shouldn't have, choices have consequences its a good thing! but re-rolling entire class / stats with Withers is perfectly fine with them x)
The change didn't seem that obvious at first, until you realize several downsides later
I'm asking for a way to remove the eye including the buff it gives of course
There is a 'bug' with the transformation with black eyes, which the cinematic shows black eyes, but afterwards they change back. If you disable heterochromia it reverts to black eyes
Volo's eye never changes, someone said there was a bug that could cause the eye to disappear, but so far no luck
yes, we can try mod it or change it's appearance, but would be great to undo some of these changes that just takes away from the enjoyment
It's a long game, we can't foresee all the issues ahead of time, like the black eye evolution + volo's eye
No, it doesn't. I've tried changing the class as well, doesn't help either. In the mirror, switching to heterochromia, changing the color also does nothing.
