MARINA & CONNER - NEED FOR ALT RESOLUTION (SPOILERS)

Once you have played through the game and know the outcome, most people can avoid the problem that the wand creates - despite your best intentions you have only two choices - break the wand and upset Mayrina (probably for her own good) or resurrect the zombie and either kill it (possibly Marina or you could KO her) OR you lose your Oath (at least as a Oath of Ancients).

It make *no sense* that I can opt to give the wand to any non-paladin companion and have them create a zombie with *no* adverse impact on my oath when a MUCH BETTER OPTION is to allow me, as a paladin, to do what I would have done in TTRPG game - offer to give the wand to Mayrina with a cautionary warning about Hag Magic & Bargains allow her to bring him back (and as she is NPC and not me) which would allow the completion of the quest in the raised him as a zombie without screwing me out of my oath or being forced to kill her and her zombie husband.

Remember, if you do not know how the game plays out, you might with the best intentions opt to raise him - given the NOT option of giving her the wand to use at her peril - and let's see - kill an innocent non-combat grieving (albeit low-IQ) widow and her husband zombie > you tell me which is the greater evil - creating a zombie by accident and giving a crazy albeit foolishly well-intentioned woman the wand that she asks for...? Killing an innocent is the better non-oath-breaking option - pretty silly.

RESOLUTION FOR NOW: I am running the game her post-zombie creation I kill the zombie and KO Mayrina - wonder if you have a storyline for that option.

JUST SO YOU KNOW: I attempted to engage Mayrina in conversation (distraction), have Shadowheart steal the body (successfully) so that when I pull the wand out - magically there is nobody to resurrect.... but the game locked up.

BOTTOM LINE: Killing a foolish (albeit limited intelligence) innocent is a better option for not breaking the oath over giving her the wand? Really?

BETTER OPTION: Give her the wand with cautionary warning about hags and let her do the deed.
