How come there is no flintlock pistol or musket in the game
thought it could be cool if it was a part of the game.

but In Dungeons and Dragons, a flintlock musket is a primitive rifle with a single shot that can be fired as an attack action. It requires two hands to use, but it may be shot but not reloaded with one hand with a -4 penalty. It requires a full-round action to reload, which provokes an attack of opportunity. Flintlock pistols take two actions to reload, and one action with the Sharpshooter feat. Flintlock pistols take one action to reload, and any time a musket or pistol rolls a 1, the shooter must roll for a save against the misfire: roll 1D20 against DC 10 (roll with advantage if possessing the martial style Firearms). In D&D 5e, flintlocks are designed to be compatible with the Gunslinger subclass, and they pack an incredible punch. Most flintlocks have the Reload 1 trait, meaning they require one action or one attack to reload after firing.

Most likely those items are not common in the area of Baldurs gate…
… If they ever 2040 or later make new D&D game, it could, but not nesessary happen in the area where gun powder guns are commonly used.

The gondian gnomes is the ones pushing the edge on magitek, and we all have seen how it goes for them. Getting exploited as hell.

And firearms does exist in the Forgotten Realms
