I know about that mod, but I would like to see it in the game not as a mod, since mods might get issues from updates, and because having less mods is better for compatibility.
Also, it's a feature that makes sense to have in the game.

I agree.. on the grounds I'm also so burned out of having to mod in common sense QoL things in games.

Well. I don't think they will ever do significant things for the game before DLCs roll in. If they roll in. No matter how much the community prays on Larian now as a savior of the AAA CRPGs, the game has only one purchase - the game itself. This is great and very customer-friendly, but that also means any additional features will only cost to develop with no money to be made.

So - let's hope for DLCs, I hope. Maybe then they will address some missing features. For now (and likely a very long time) mods are the best bet.

I sort of doubt they'll ever add the features that are requested, but I'm pessimistic and jaded.

As for DLCs, I doubt we'll see any, but maybe if they make an enhanced edition again, we'll see some features...
