[Suggestion] Wulbren dialogue
Potential spoiler warning!

I accidentally killed Barcus in Act 1, the gnome that's tied to a windmill, by pushing the wrong lever because I am a dumb-ass (wow does this sound weird when you spell it out). Anywho, I looted his corpse and found the bloodied amulet with Wulbrens name on it. Later I freed that very same Wulbren from Moonrise towers (specifically mentioning that Barcus sent me) and approached him in Last Light Inn, amulet in hand, already dreading the upcoming conversation about the unfortunate end of his dear friend... only to be deeply disappointed since neither Barcus nor the amulet get mentioned at any point. Wulbren is just stand-offish no matter what. Why? Why can't I hand him the amulet and confess to clear my conscience? Or use Deception to pretend that Barcus was already dead or dying when I found him, so I avenged him by slaying the Goblins responsible and completed his last wish when he uttered his last words: "Save... Wulbren... my dearest... friend". This would have been so epic and RL-me could have felt like a real piece of human garbage. Instead I got nothing. That was disappointing.

Wulbren doesn't even care about him anyway

Wulbren wants the world to burn. His initial attitude only takes a few lines at the LLI to know he wouldn't care if his entire clan died as long as he gets to destroy the world and rebuild it in his ideal.

Mentioning Wulbren alive gets the "meh, didn't think he had the guts for it" response with an immediate dismissal.

Still, it would be reasonable to think the player would try to mention it at least (especially a D'urge who might be tempted to admit to it), but it is what it is. (And no, it's not an option for D'urge, either.)

Who knows what Larian might add? Who knows what was cut and might return if it's not too complicated? (Dialog trees in games like BG3 are more like grand oak trees with all the branches covered in webworms that connect everything together in a white mess that barely resembles a tree anymore. Alter one branch and you can rip apart a number of strands connected to other branches. Alter one thread and a branch can break altogether.)
