Spoilers: Ridiculously OP armor that needs a nerf (*Don't read this if u havn't reached ACT3!!!*)
The armor I want to talk about is that Bhaalist armor, in particular its passive aura that makes all enemies in a 2m radius vulnerable to pierce damage if they did not have some kind of resistance.

Imo is just ridiculously OP, Aura of Murder is an AOE effect with no save, and no action requirement and easily doubles ur damage output on most enemies in the game. I have played through 80% of the game and never seen anything as ridiculously strong as this thing.

I thought removing the helmet of grits was a step into the right direction as bonus actions are also a valuable resources and it is game-breaking to have it in such abundance. But bloody hells what were u thinking when u gave a piece of armor that covers a 2m area a unsavable, no action required, passive that almost doubles its damage ? Even on tactician mode, my paladin can one shot sarevok in one round without using haste simply because of this vulnerability debuff.

To put this into perspective, the branding amulate, a piece of necklace that gives u a physical vulnerability on ur enemy based on ur choice, is a bonus action that can only be cast once/long rest and it will go expire in one hit. And this is still one of the biggest trump card for most of the physical-based classes in middle-late game paired with luck of the far realm.

Now with Bhaalist armor(which isn't even that difficult to get at all), everyone in ur team can enjoy that bonus damage, on multiple targets in any given fight, without spending a single action or bonus action, limitless amount of times throughout the days because some rogue has chucked down an invisibility potion and it is standing right next to the boss.

This is the BG3 equivalent of shield of Balduran, the stupid summon ur spider and then double web combo, the idiotic 2e sorcerers that are ridiculously strong with all their ability points being dumped, the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ celestial fury plus MMM.

PLEASE LARIAN JUST DELETE THIS REDICULOUS PIECE OF ARMOR, OR CHANGE IT INTO SOMETHING ELSE. Like advantage on melee attacks or +1d6 pierce damage on every pierce damage attacks, they are just rediculously stupidly strong but it doesn't RENDER EVERY OTHER CLASS POINTLESS AND TRIVIALIZES UR AMAZING GAMEPLAY.

Its a very late piece of equipment and BG2 had way more broken stuff that one could acquire rather early.

Just don't use it and problem solved anyway.

TBF I run this on astarion and I'm fairly sure for the last half of the last act it just straight up wasn't procking. I stopped getting the little text when it was active and noticed a large dip in his damage numbers.

However I will say it is a fairly iconic price of armor and act 3 is supposed to feel like end game D&D where the items and abilities you have are supposed to feel OP cuz the enemies abilities and weapons are OP.

In D&D what is good for the goose is great for the gander so.

I mean on the flipside the armor is unusable if you want to progress through the story, every npc runs away when you wear it.

Also, unless you make a run for it, you'll probably unlock it just before the final couple of boss fights, and at that point there are so many ways to break the game that x2 on piercing dmg is hardly problematic
