I couldn’t agree more with this post. After playing a bladesinger wizard in 5th Edition, I cannot imagine any other class that I’d rather play.
In this game, it seems like Gale has been given the short end of the stick. So far, there aren’t any great wizards to play and I believe that this is an oversight from the developer’s.
It’s a tough class to play normally, but worth it if you can manage to really buckle down and put in the work to play the class right. Unfortunately, the in game cost to learn spells is hard to justify on any character but your main and with the rumors surrounding Gale, I’d hate for it to turn into another ‘Yoshimo’ debacle and lose everything I invested.
Please make this happen!!!
