Please add option to remove "Down Down by the River" from the soundtrack

I really do not want to play the music audio set to 0% but I cannot stand the song "Down Down by the River" and the fact that so much of the OST is just that song and variations of it is killing me. There's a vocal version, an instrumental version, a combat version, etc.

I'm sure some people love the the song, but I hate it. It's like as if you heard a band's one hit single, so you bought the album. But the album is nothing but the one hit single in different music genres.

I don't want to mute the music (then again I don't know how much variation there really is yet), but if I could just check a box to purge "Down Down by the River" and all it's variations, that would make me so happy.

Surprised no one has made a mod that will let you insert your own soundtracks. Could just grab music from a similarly themed game's OST if that was a mod.

There really isn't much information on this.
Seems you're in a very small minority.
Best I could find was someone on Reddit extracting pak files and converting audio formats to replace one of the bard songs with one they preferred and it's pretty hard to find out which audio file is which.
Ehm... Turning off the soundtrack and playing something else through media player of your choice in the background sounds more viable to me.

There are several mods for just the main menu music to change it or to mute it.

There is one for the battle music, but requires some work to convert your music files to a .wem format:

It was better in EA, before they made the singer's voice "gender-ambiguous" or whatever, and it used to fit the theme of your dream companion and the loss of self. Now it's just there.
