I desperately want to use Chaos Bolt for Sorcerer.

Title says it all. Not always a popular spell, but I adore it. Chaos Bolt is my one staple sorc spells in tabletop through 4e/5e. Tweaks to the sub-menu for chromatic orb for selecting which of the two damage type options the dice determine, maybe?

I get that. Truly, I love playing a Wild Magic Sorcerer because of how crazy goofy it is in general. Especially in multiplayer, Wild magic can create hilarious situations. Chaos Bolt is basically the same deal for me. I love how random it can be, ESPECIALLY when all of the rolls are done automatically, so I have 0 input as to what happens. It makes for interesting situations that truly make my WM Sorc just chaos incarnate, which is super nice for roleplaying and such.

Sadly, the only thing I could tell you is to try out the 5E Spells mod. I personally use it when I play Sorcerer with friends, because it adds the spell.
