The (lack of) speed in dice rolls
I understand it's D&D.. but these dice rolls man..

When i go to unlock, remove trap, persuasion attempt etc.. I am not interested in seeing this dice roll mechanic more than once, possibly twice, ever.

Can we make it so that the screen doesn't even load? Perhaps just a success/fail notice with possibility for inspiration rerolls? Or at least make it instant. It just really ruins the flow and it's annoying.

Sometimes i manage to skip the animations, sometimes i don't.. sometimes i end up progressing or clicking wrong in the attempt to make it instant.

The game is good, Larian.. but these dice rolls got old fast.

You can skip the dice roll by clicking after rolling. You'll still get the GUI but you'll skip to the result.

Yeah, I figured this. But most of the time it seems unresponsive. Leads to skipping dialogue or choosing wrong option, as several clicks leads to too many once they register.

Just needs a toggle option so it skips the rolling animation and straight to result.

This. We need an autoskip toggle.

Can a setting option in the menu be to disable dice roles?
I'd like to see an option to skip roll animations as well.

Yeah it was fun the first few hours but the amount of rolls you have to do in a roll sometimes makes it really tedious.

What's even worse is when you have a character like Astarion who, later on, is guaranteed a successful roll on pretty much anything - it should just be automated and skipped at this point. If the roll required is, say, 15 and you've got a bonus of 15 or higher then skip it.

It's also really frustrating how Noisy it is. Zing after ZIng After ZING as you add the bonuses from equpiment and proficiencies. It was only interesting like the first three times, and now it gives me a headache even when I click through it to skip it still makes TONS of noise.

I'm with you... but... That it's D&D doesn't make die rolls automatically longer. Nobody's die rolls are that long. Not even slo-mo movie shots at the craps table.

You can leftclick to skip the slow adding bonus part so they are added instantly but I agree the whole process is annoying. I also wish this could all be automated and possibly even be hidden, but the problem with this is how does the game know which spell you use on top like guidance ect.
