Join the Tav club. Anyways I think I remember there was a bug once on character selection when trying to select druid which would not let you change name. I think the fix was to pic another class and change name then switch back to druid.
Now just exploring the tutorial “ship” to see how basic things work. I can’t believe that they managed to create such a terrible, clunky interface. Plus a Mute protagonist, crazy camera — can’t even see the opponents... what year is it?
The combat “tutorial” is a joke. So is combat itself.
So far I am very much disappointed.
I'm pretty sure s/he's just trolling at this point. I mean, there is no naming bug in the first place.
No naming bug? Really? I think it is you who is trolling now.
Not only the name is bugged but camera as well. I have to save-reload after every combat encounter and interaction because the camera freezes and refuses to follow.
This is worse than alpha.
I am really grateful for the advice — to name other character first and then switch to the one I want. It worked. Also, no more loud weird sound when I tried to type or use spacebar.
Now I have a properly named Drow thief. That allowed me to ditch the vampire fellow, thanks Llolth. He and Gale are permanently banned to the campsite, never to be picked again, although, I do regret not being able to have a 6 people party, like in a proper Baldur’s Gate game. However, since it is not even remotely BG anyway and just a DnD game, I can live with that.
Once again, thanks for the tip.
