Spectator behaves out of character compared to DnD description

Just completed Early Access in 30 hours. I noticed the Spectators are behaving out of character in the game despite being lawful neutral.

For the first Spectator, it starts attacking everyone around it the moment it is released from the iron flask. However, the Spectator should have obeyed the releasor for 1 hour (or an appropriate amount of game time), unless it was being harmed. After that duration, its should only be hostile if the releasor was doing something bad.

For the Spectator in the Underdark, I find it hard to believe the creature would just ambush some random people like the party without talking to them first.

Seems like the Spectator from Baldur's Gate II more closely matches the DnD description than the Early Access in its current form.

Maybe it's better to replace the Spectator with a Beholder (kin) that has evil alignment?
