Is it me, or most of male faces are... Ugly?

Halflings look like hardened alcoholics, drow and elves have hunky faces (for a stereotypical elf?). Dwarfs get a pass, because they are... dwarfs. But seriously though, besides half elves, other male face choices so far are... "eh."

They don't have massive heads, Dwarfs do but halflings don't they are proportionate for there size... the head isn't a normal size person that's way more a Dwarfism trait. Halflings have hairy feet would be the biggest trait other then small frame not massive head syndrome.

Look i wanted a little action but the faces i can't tolerate! was gonna ask her if she shaves her feet for the big date so to speak...

Well going of say War Hammer they use a good definition of Halfling i don't see them as having massive heads looking at the miniatures.

Lets hold a vote... do people think Halflings should have larger heads disproportionate from the body or should that only be a Dwarf trait being stunty an all....

But that's War Hammer....lol. That's like yelling at Larian for making their DOS2 Elves super thin long neck cannibals and not more like the Elves from Lord of the Rings.

Everyone can have their own interpretation of how a race should be. Just like when a character from League of Legends was released, Shyvanna. She turns into what Riot called a "Dragon". But she resembles more of a Wyvern. But they call her a dragon because it's their own interpretation of it.

Artist impressions i guess of what something should look like, I like the orcs from War Hammer but the Lord of the Rings movie i didn't think they looked anything like orcs, From memory i always had the impression halflings in d&d had normal sized heads for the body.

easily fixed just adding in some slider morphs but 10 dollars in scripting might be too much for them...

This model cost me like 2 dollars, even if you just bought a bunch of preset models if your to lazy to add them, cheap as chips fully licensed.

You can always use face transfer technology aswell, it's what i intend to add into the few games i'm currently developing, you can take a picture of yourself with a phone, put that into the game it will then put your own face or someone you know onto the body and you morph it your liking with shape sliders.

*Ehem so "most male faces aren't so ugly, if anything they're average at best. Unless of course the player goes beyond their way to make them ugly? 🤔 I'm also not speaking for the obvious "not handsome" races, who're suppose to look a negative way from a western society view.

I do agree how halflings need fixing though, they were given the short end of the stick when it comes to their design! They need their heads to get resized & not be copy pasted from humans too.

Now what we should really be complaining about is most faces of women are below standard of western society! Yes I get how we must represent the "ugly ducklings" of the world, yet after what I saw Larian went overboard.

There's too many cons then pros from doing this, & it doesn't make sense for the Drow race! Did you guys even see the human faces of women, it made the males look more attractive! Where's the representation? Why's there less of a certain lady? 😵

And don't give me the, "Oh everybody is pretty to me." I mean by "you know what" standards, so don't play dumb lol. Larian knows how to make them too, they did it before! So clearly this is on purpose." xD

Even gnomes and dwarves are better than Halfers... they are just a genetic embarrassment. So one of them through a ring into a volcano in another game world, Who Cares? So what if one is a cute lesbian halfer that gets turned into a book on your way to losing your kingdom to a Fey Demi-god.... So What?!

If you notice the faces are the same for all races just different scales and textures. A couple have some alien morphs... like 10 dollar content max....

Agreed, pretty sad for a 2021 game, lets all just hope this is just a limitation of EA. A world without fat Humans goes too far past the realms of fantasy into places no creature dare venture or even dream about.

I myself want to make an extremely fat Barbarian ('cuz loincloth), name him Kentucky Fried Sanders, with the tiniest mouth and with a nose like the guy from One Piece. He is the savior of the lands!

*Edit* Oh! and very short stubby legs... I can't hope for a waddle animation but short legs will work well enough.
