Need Help with: Fixing Hair Textures
I'll be honest, if I knew how to take snapshots in the game, I'd include pictures because it would be SO MUCH easier if you could see what I'm seeing then me trying to describe it, but since I don't...

With animal fur...it's more of a pixelated blur. I mean, I can still tell it's a bear or mouse or whatever...but it's like the fur as a certain pixelated blur to them.

The issue I have with hair on say the Origin characters or Tav...I don't know how to describe it, it just looks weird...like it's missing something it has when I've played on the PS5 (the PS5 is a friends so that's not an option consistently for me).

OS: Steam Deck OLED

Note: If this is just an issue I'll have to deal with using a Steam Deck, so be it...but if it's a settings issue (I typically don't mess with settings because one of the few times I have in a past game, I majorly screwed the save file up...so the game still has its default settings) then it would be nice to know what they need to be adjusted to.

I haven't checked the settings since the most recent hot fixes, but switching to FSR 2 at Quality/Ultra Quality for me helps a lot. It for some reason (at least used to) default to FSR 1 even when both are available. I usually turn down some other visuals like the bloom or God rays (a couple other kinda irrelevant environmental textures i cant remember atm) too which seems to help it run a bit smoother for me

Couldn't find a FSR at all (so I may've not been looking in the right place). However, I did find something to do with "auto detect" which seems to have fixed the problem with the hair. Will need to track down a critter to figure out if it fixed that, too.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
