So, this is a one-time "mega weapon" for the worst of times, like the final of the game. Or is it better not to touch him, but to establish relations with smugglers?
I've never actually kept the Zentharim alive, however it seems that you can pickpocket it back in Act 3, in the thieves' Guild
I’ll probably do just that - I’ll “return” flask to myself in the last act, when it’s really needed. In the meantime (in the first playthrough) I’ll try not to cheat too much)).
The game is really huge, although I try to climb around and rummage through everything as much as possible :)
So, I'll eventually come back to this game and discover more.
It'll give you access to more items in their shops, plus supposedly give you a discount, though I haven't actually checked the numbers.
I've found that most of the time the spectator will prefer to attack you, so unless it's a fight like with Ragzlin where it's easy to just toss the flask, run, and arcane lock the door, it's going to be more of a liability than an asset.
I definitely wouldn't use it in the final battle because you should have too many friendlies for it to massacre.
The best discount from the thieving Zhent is to drag everything into an empty backpack in your inventory, you only pay for the last item in the selection.
There's no impact on the story if all the allies die, they aren't even mentioned or shown after the battle. They all are just cannon fodder and distractions as you dimension door to the brain portal area up top.
In the trade menu, I can drag items from the merchant window into a backpack from my inventory, and only pay for the last one? Is this a flaw (exploit)?
And if you don't plan on actually fighting, why summon a spectator?
