Experience nerfed?
It kinda feels like they reduced the EXP gain from certain events.

Usually convincing the Githyanki Patrol to leave gave 600+ Experience, in my new run I got 315.
Convincing the Goblins not to attack you at blighted villages used to give 170 Experience, now only gave 100.

Is this nerf to experience documented anywhere?

Haven't noticed these changes myself. Were you lower level when you triggered both of those before? The XP might scale based on party level...

XP gains might be different due to your level. Since I was still able to get to level 7 by the end of Act 1 and level 10 by the end of Act 2, I'd say they didn't change much, if at all.

Hmmm. It's weird, I remember these points specifically, since I use them as breakpoints on the way to level 5 before I take on Flind.
Maybe if I had done Phase Spider/Spectator Bulette first.

Thanks anyway, but I just havent ever noticed, that the game scales EXP to your level.
And even then I'd assumed the reverse, gaining less experience for lower level events when you are at higher levels already.

I just like putting down Hunger of Hadar. Trivializes it so well. Could probably do it earlier, just dont like having to rely on random Hold Person successes and the bad 2nd level AoEs, especially with those Multi-Attack Archers.

I....have never even used hold person. Cloud of Daggers is the only AOE I've used, and are you seriously calling that "bad"? Wooooow..... More often than not, though, I end up using tadpole-foo to mind control Flind into turning on her pack then attempt to get her to kill herself after. Doesn't always work, but she's an easy fight by herself. SOmetimes I don't get that dialog cut in, usually it happens if she starts her second turn in melee range but it sometimes fails to trigger. In which case, the fight can be tricky, but as long as you're prepared it can be gotten through at 4 or even 3 if you're lucky and smart. No Hold Person needed. Couple Haste potions won't hurt if you've got them, either. But still not necessary.

There are things people like using and things people dont like using.
There are things that could make the fight easier/doable that I do not like using, which is why I usually rely on at least 1 round of un-hasted Hold Person Crits.

Just did the fight. Worked at 4. Shatter actually did a thing, Bane helped most Bard Spells land. I know it's always a matter of setup, just prefer the setup where the enemies dont ever get close to me, are blind and die from constant Acid and Cold.

Oh, Shatter. Wait, you were calling **SHATTER** weak?! O.O

Combared to Fireball? Ye.
AoE is small, must rely on either Tadpole powers (I dont like using) to get people into one spot, or hope they get together on their own.
Then additionally, especially at low level, it is usually saved against consistently.
