Something Missing in Dark Urge Cutscene?
So I was in the Bhaal Cult lair or whatever its called. I was experimenting with different dialogue options as I wanted to see what each one gave. There was one in particular relating to this question that puzzles me. What happened was that my Durge died while fighting Orin and I managed to kill all the hostiles with my other 3 companions. I got a cutscene with Bhaal taking control of Sceleritas Fel. He lifts Durge's body, calls him a failure and tells him he's doomed to succumb to the curse. Durge's eyes go black, there's a splatter noise and the screen cuts to black. However when everything comes back...nothing happened? No extra cutscene? No nothing? My character was fully healed for some reason so I guess something happened but he doesn't seem to acknowledge what happened. In fact nobody in my party does at least I'm pretty sure that was the case.
Am I missing something? Why did that happen? Was there supposed to be a cutscene there or what? Is there something that happens later that explains this? If so hide it with spoilers. Kinda wanna find out for myself if that's the case.

Sounds like a part of the cutscene is indeed missing.

For the cutscene itself ~

Denying the legacy of Bhaal kills you - but Withers makes you his agent and brings you back to life so you can fight on, that will be more clear in the story ending

Right but this is something different I think. In this instance I'm doing an evil Dark Urge playthrough. I have the Slayer. There shouldn't be any good in me at this point. I never resisted the Urge at any point except for maybe a few minor ones that I missed. As I said I did not reject Bhaal rather I died while fighting Orin. Bhaal saw me as a failure and did something next, I dunno what really. My Durge's eyes went black and there was a splatter/crunching noise then it everything cut to black. This cutscene is completely new to me. Maybe Withers is supposed to come revive me but the cutscene just was never added? Maybe not though given he's only able to revive the part of Durge that is good, which would make no sense given my Durge in this playthrough is completely evil. I dunno it was pretty confusing.

Sounds like that. Indeed.
Therefore I recommend strongly to submit the savegame to Larian Studios for clarification and fixing if needed. Would not be the first time that a situation is not working as it is supposed to be.

It could be also something along the lines ~
that you are not supposed to be revived and the game just mistook it for the good durge run, so it glitched out basically, hence the missing cutscene

Ah okay. I don't know if it's just me that's experiencing this, but I did reattempt the cutscene for screenshot purposes. Nothing really changed, so either it was that save that was bugged or this isn't just me. Not sure how to submit my save to Larian though.
