Can you escape the goblin camp the same way liam escaped?
Or can he only go that way?

You can escape by opening map and teleporting

Personally I usually escape it by killing every goblin on the way out, but I guess that's just me.

In one Honor mode run a fight went really, really bad, and I did escape out the hidden tunnel Liam uses with one surviving invisible party member.

Where does it come out?

Over by the rock bridge / waterfall area with some treasure chests and traps. You can make a Perception Check to notice it and use it as a sneakier way in, too.

Not directly or exactly, but sort of part of that same general area, yes. Higher elevation and more to the Northeast, above the outside goblin children.
