I'm really disappointed
I'm missing a fundamental part of the gameplay, the romance. I romanced Gale (and there are no other options for me as the other party members don't stimulate like him).

The astral projection scene doesn't trigger, no matter what I do, what guides I follow, the mods that I install.

I'm really reconsidering to get a refund because I felt tricked by the game. It's the second run I begin to let this happen and that didn't really matter, because the scene won't tirigger.

Any help in that case?

I see lots of people that says do this, do that, but I'm a little bit flustered

Where are you in your playthrough and how is your relationship?

I'm at act II, the relationship is on maximum ): The last interaction was the curious book about other kinds of entertainmente after a battle

Well, according to some folks, Gale should have already assaulted you by this point. (But they are lying, so.)

So you are following the bg3 wiki romance guide for him, yes?

Note certain conditions you will need to meet ...

Some mods can broke romantic. Try to play vanilla game.

I played vanilla game until now, I tried to find mods that would trigger the scene, but I'm not going anywhere

How did you get to Act 2 within the refund window, and also miss an event that everyone else complains about happening to them all the time?

Some of the romance stuff I think has to happen by a certain point, like in Act 1 or Act 2.

So you're missing something in the interactions that lead to romance. There is no mod that fixes this. I never had any problems romance Gale.

Although it won't help your game now.

I've learned in EA fairly quickly that if you'd like to see all the companions have to offer, you will have to choose long rest more frequently.

I hope you find a way to see the scenes, they're definitely worth it.

That's actually not true, (the mod thing I mean). Script extender can trigger or progress the status of a romance. Requires knowing the commands to type into the console, but that can work. Also, the polyamory mod can activate or progress romances, including, of course, as the name suggests, un-triggering a jealousy flag.

But anyway, the Wiki says normally you should run into a "projection" of Gale (like a hologram) at camp some time after Moonrise towers, and this is what will start the next romance events ....

So perhaps the polyamory mod is the answer and can solve the issue?
seeker1 Mar 17, 2024 @ 1:45pm
I can't use it - requires SE - but very likely could (although it may just be the case that, as suggested above, Lisa hasn't taken enough LRs for the trigger to occur in the LR queue).
