Oath of the Ancients is more of a druid crosspath (Moonbeam, Plant Growth, misty step, etc.)
Oathbreaker is more into warlock shenanigans, but also allows you to "hit better", allowing you to hit "harder" through GWM with Spiteful Suffering
If you like bigd*qk damn-age, Oathbreaker 100%. They get the best chassis for DPS output out of any class in the game thanks to that Hate Aura, and they come strapped with all the tools they need to fire that chassis up to 11.
If you like support, though, Ancients is lowkey kinda goated. A 1/SR AoE heal that procs heal riders twice, while also having Lay on Hands, with the full smattering of Paladin goodies AND access to Moonbeam, Misty Step, or even Plant Growth (which, if you don't play a lot of fire users, is insane when stacked with Hunger of Hadar). The warding aura can save your ass in certain scenarios (Cazy's empowered Call Lightning for example is capable of hitting for 10d10 per use, halving that can save a character), the snare channel can be clutch for geeking a particularly nasty opponent thanks to the free advantage, especially if you have Haste active . . . it all ends up amounting to one big apple pie of f*cksh*t that's generally tanky, very strong, and pretty fun if you play into the Oath.
Thanks.
You really answered my question with like. The first sentence.
