GustavDev Multiplayer

So I've been trying to get multiplayer working and I know for a fact I don't have mods downloaded but it won't let me join or let other people join multiplayer games. Has anyone had this issue and/or know of any way I can fix this? TIA <3

GustavDev is a game folder in the Shared.pak and Gustav.pak files. These sync during game creation and if that sync times out on any ones side you will not be able to join. These are also the same files that mods effect since in a since they are mods / setting in and of themselves. High resolution and frame rate can also effect this connection.

I am no fan of their public lobby servers and anyone using them is simply lucky they get them to work in the first place. Just think of them as a clown car trying to pack as many people as possible into the same car at the same time.

I can only recommend a direct LAN or VPN multiplayer game with one of the systems operating as the server.

having the same problem now. were you able to find a solution other than a direct LAN or VPN?
