BG3 Endless Dungeon - Survial

Am I alone in wishing that BG3 had an Endless Dungeon survival mode?

I keep thinking that sometimes it would just be nice to create a character, or even create a team roster, jump into an endless dungeon mode, no story, no waiting around but just looting for upgrades, scrounging for rations, leveling up and seeing how far you can make it.

I doubt it would ever happen, bu that would sure be a nice way to wind down some days after work, when I don't really want a story, but just to have fun leveling up and getting more powerful

Would be neat but I doubt we'll get some sort of game mode. Maybe subclasses? Who knows what Larian is planning.

I'm sure Solasta has a player made campaign that is like that but... that's Solasta.

Disagree. Last thing i want is this kind of game without a story. And if they have time to do such a mode, better they spend it in another act.

Probably. Because that idea sounds so boring.
You could get that easily by playing Solasta instead.

I love the idea of a roguelike in D&D5 settings.
I tried out the ones from pathfinder and i didn't find them very good.

The combat is by far my favourite thing about this game, so i agree that an Endless Dungeon survival mode like they have in the pathfinder games would be incredible if they could do it well.

It might be fun for a while but long term? Eh, Kingmaker's Beneath the Stolen Lands got old quite fast. Can't talk about the WotR equivalent as I've yet to try it but I imagine it's the same.

They're very much in the same vein, and it gets old really quickly because you have to get through so much filler combat to get to any of the interesting bits.

There is a mod that sort of does this. Worth checking out if you use Nexus. It's a very easy setup. The mod gives an endless combat mode

They should let another developer make a combat focused game like a new Icewind Dale. Make up a complete custom party and go explore with minimal story.
