Disappointed about Origin prologues
All Origin characters start the game the same pod as the Tav (except Lae'zel) and crash in the same spot. I was hoping that Shadowheart would start in the pod I find her in, and Gale stuck in a portal after the crash.

could make replaying slightly more interesting though how gales startwould work if starting trapped in portal

After rescuing Lae'zel and Shadowheart from the nautiloid, one of them would rescue Gale when it crashes.
Reminder: Gale does tell the MC that he saw them on the ship, so he still would have been in one of the pods during the first part of the prologue.

I think the only hitch would be Karlach. She is found far away from the crash site, and I never found the pod she may have crashed in.

I would be better if it was all RNG and scrambled the starting locations of all the origins so each play would start out different.

But the thing is, the prologue also functions as the mini-tutorial, and they allow playing as origin even on your first playthrough.

If origins only unlocked as some kind of New Game + mode, then it would make more sense to have unique starts for them.

origin characters are under-developed, unfortunately, there's very little point in playing them.

you get miles more content from having them as companions, playing as them, you essentially just have -1 party member and few (too few) unique dialogue options

Karlach is one big plot hole from start to end and it's best you don't think about it too hard. The moment you start questioning what a infernal engine does to a living being outside of avernus for example. Hint: it runs on souls. So anyone she kills should turn into lemures. But Larian forgot about that.

You can tell she was a late addition, just like Halsien and Minthara.

Her pod - or what I presume is her pod - is not too far away. I'll give directions if you wish.

It's located near the bridge to the Blighted Village in Act 1.
