Alert Feat and Elixir of Vigillance

Has anybody tried using them both? They seem to be doind the same thing but do they stack?

With the way that initiative is done in the game, there would be no point.

I can't see why not, almost for sure it will stack, but as pointed above there is no point in doing so, with Alert feat you will act first in nearly all fights, no additional bonus needed.

Sorry the holy necro here, but Orin has a +7 to her init, so if you're trying to go first for sure you need both

Why +7? It's 1d4+2. +7 would be with alert feat, but I don't think that she have one. I was fighting her few times, including honour mode, and 1d4+2+5 was always enough to act before her for whole party.

I've had + 9 due to items and the alert feat. I still went before Orin. She also had quite the difficulty hitting me and could land no crits (adamantine shield), 6 lvl of valor bard and 5 level of sorcerer.

Cazador is worse when it comes to init.
