Not all tiefs go there.
did you find the Tiefs at the Inn ?
You could always share your save
Were there tiefs at the inn though ?
In fact going to moonrise is one of the main places to get the quest to go after nightsong, so yea, game generally expects you to visit it before.
So yes, after the assault on Moonrise begins, you can say bye to the prisioners, that explains why you were having a hard time
I decided to just keep going, though. I felt like I was at a finish line for the zone and walking away from it to do other optional stuff. So, I figured they would be nixed if I continued.
Last two times, I saved them all... but last time, I kinda regret saving the Ironhands given how everything played out.
(Sometimes, I find it annoying that you have to play through multiple times to get the whole story and the big picture, but it's been okay so far with CP'77 and BG3. I'm curious to find out what I still don't know by taking a widely different path than I did those 3 times.)
The achievement only requires the tieflings and the deep gnomes. I have that achievement despite having personally killed Sazza in Act 1 while she was still in her cage, for instance.
