Game is TOO HARD on easiest setting Please Help
I have it set on the weakest of the 3 settings. I still can not kill the goblin party in the start of the game and everyone is level 3. I do not understand how the game makers think the most easy setting is easy- it is NOT.

Can someone please link me to a place where I can patch on an easier mode or half the monster damage. It is way too hard to play the game. Baldurs Gate one and Baldurs gate 2 are both games you can SOLO WIN with a Fighter /Barbarian / Paladin on THE CORE RULES Setting. I have this down to the easy level and have a party and still get killed by the 1st group of goblins.

Please link to a trainer or a game mode that halves or quarters the monster damage. Thanks!

Uh...this is some weird trolling about being angy the hard mode isn't hard enough... it has to be. Players brand new to crpg tend to learn the game pretty easily.. and you're over here spouting the first 2 games as proof this game is too hard? THIS game that had such a large outcry for a harder mode? Really?

Nope.. nope nope. :P IF you are genuine, go to nexus.. but no one has mad 'easier' mode or trainers for bg3 as far as i'm aware since it isn't needed.

I solo'd it on tactician (honour mode didn't exist yet) so idk what you're on about.
If you're asking for advice, ask specific questions.

I don't believe you.

If you're not trolling, then you need to take some more time to learn the system. Pay attention to make sure you have decent items, use your scrolls and potions, remember that elevation gives you advantage to attacks, and think more tactically. The game is not difficult but if you're pushing too fast, and not thinking your way through fights, I could see how one might get themselves in over their head.

I just wrote a negative review of the game because the combat is too hard. If I had known it was this difficult I would have refunded it.

I just applied for a refund. I only have about 4 or 5 hours of play. If they do not refund the game I guess I may uninstall it and then maybe play it in a year or two when there is a trainer hack that makes the monsters do 90 percent less damage.

Not a troll; just refuses to actually try to play the game because "easy mode means I should be able to run in, basic attack, and win."

lmao.
The funniest part is that encounter you barely need to fight.
If you just bring the bosse's health low enough he gets all scared and they all scram

Ok I think I was able to get a refund I got this notification: Steam approved your refund on Oct 7, 2020.

$59.99 will be refunded to your payment method

As Steam approved your refund request within 24 hours of purchase, the transaction was canceled. Your bank will most likely remove the pending authorization from your statement instead of showing a purchase and refund.

Please review your bank statement and verify that the original charge was removed.

If the charge is still present, your bank has not yet reconciled your account. This process is often quick, but can take 7 or more days depending on your bank.

If the charge does not drop off your bank statement, you will need to contact your payment provider to have them release the funds. Steam Support is not able to expedite this process.

THAT IS GREAT! I am happy about this. I feel like the game was a drag when I had to micromanage combat. And DO NOT say I am not a RTS Pro - I am I won MTYH with the dwarven firte pot throwers and fire archers. (Awesome game I should see if they have that on GOG) but this game was way to hard on the easy level. I may purchase it in a year or two if they ever dumb it down to where the easy mode is like three times more easy.

As far as the moral complaints I am not sure. I did not do any kind of graphic action in the game- although the game building thing with the waist high sexual organ was rather rude in my opinion.

I am not mad at the game- it was mildly interesting from what I could tell - but I rather play a better game ole style like Baldurs Gate TOB.

I hope all u pro gamers who liked it play it well. But I am a reel professional PVP Sand Lands Stormtropper Sith Empire Crusader so just recall when you are taking fire from goblins- I was still cooler in The Arab Lands as a Servant Of The Empire a Level 7 at least Fighter - maybe level 3 or 4 Ranger... No Sith Levels in the Baldurs Gate game so USMC NCO powers dont translate to fantasy too well.

So in conclusion I think the game was ok but too hard and I am glad Steam gave me a refund.

Not every game is for every person. And you're probably better off not buying a game just because it's popular and/or everyone told you that you should.

If you WON'T learn how the game works, nobody can help you.
If you CAN'T learn how the game works, nobody can help you.
