Ancient Mega Pack mod question - locations of all ''Reward for Effort'' chests?
Hey. So i didn't had any idea how to open up those chests but at some point i managed to get a purple rarity weapon drop from this mod.

The weapon was called ''Lockpick'' and attacking those chests with it actually opened them up. I've left at least few of those chests behind, so i am wondering if anyone knows locations of all of them or could point me to a source that contains this information.

EDIT: in the meantime i'll note down the chests that i do know about:

1. Nautiloid during Epilogue - no idea how i could've be opened it though (easily spotted but exact location unknown)
2. Adamantine Forge - Abandoned Refuge - A Crumbling Island surrounded by lava (X: - 627 | Y: 238)
3. Underdark - Storehouse (X: 164 | Y: - 102)
4. Rosymorn Monastery - Dawnmaster's Memorial (X: 79 | Y: 81)

P.S.: Sometimes with updates the reward for effort chests locations have been altered so in future it's not guaranteed that they will stay there.

Unfortunately i don't remember. Must've been Act 1 for sure but where i don't know.
There is an in-game manual that tells you that it's in act1, is somewhere that the sun doesn't shine, and needs a perception check to find. It could be up your rectum based on those clues. It's supposedly in the Arcane Tower, but I have yet to find it. Don't even get me started on how much of a pita it is to get the in game manual if you didn't find it on the nautiloid. I don't know why they didn't just publish the in-game manual online.

I really hate this part of what would otherwise be a great mod. It has ground my gameplay to a halt. I don't reccomend going to the mods discord page. I just got insults.
The Lockpick can be found in the Secluded Grove in the Druid base (Emerald Grove). It's in a corner and needs a perception check as stated.

Also, you can technically get any of these chests without the lockpick if you roll a Nat 20 as critical successes are guaranteed successes for any check. Same for critical misses. This is how I got the one in the Nautiloid in the epilogue.

Also to add to the list of chest locations (Editing as I find more):

1. Goblin Camp - Right next to a heavy chest on the second floor right above the entrance to the Goblin Camp. Will need high strength or longstrider or fly or any other means to travel over large gaps.
- Exact coordinates: X; -96 Y; 415

2. Shattered Sanctum - In the rafters to the left if facing away from the entrance.
- Exact Coordinates: X: 263 Y: -3

3. Shattered Sanctum - To the right of the druid prisoner (not Halsin) taking a beating on the right after entering the first main room. He also escapes in this direction if you free him.
- Exact Coordinates: X: 335 Y: -54

4. Campsite in Grymforge - Infront of Withers.

Been looking for a chest for hours, mod seems to be installed fine get the coins, get the rewards, loots all there, but cant find a single chest, went to all of your locations and couldnt find a single one sadly.
I do not recommend to use AMP + REL, after using it for almost my entire playtime (2000 hours) i can safely say is just not worth it, can't use other equipment mods without breaking the placements, some story items are randomized like the molds in the adamantine forge, and it just feels like a bloated loot pinata with useless/unblanaced items, the cherry on top is the mod author nerf some of the vanilla items just because he wanted to which makes zero sense.

My recommendation is to use FED Equipment, it actually has a lot of items that feels really good to use, and can combine with other mods without breaking anything.

Curious... Not even in the Nautiloid in the Epilogue? Across the room from the brain that you can dig out of the body. That one requires a high perception role iirc.

It's there, in the same room where you can extract the brain out of a numb human. Litterally across the room, there is a perception check DC 20 that you can try your luck on !

Does this mod make the game easier? If so are you balancing it with some other MOD to make it harder?
For anyone looking. In my current playthroughs the Lockpick is in the mushroom teleporter room at the Hag's. It is specifically the teleporter that leads to the under dark.

I have found chests to the left side of the hatch that leads to Withers X:315 Y:360
And another near the Harpy Nest. Will add cords for it later.
