How to pick up a chest of Selune from Owlbear`s Cave?
How to pick up a chest of Selune from Owlbear`s Cave? I saw in YouTube shorts how people picked up a chest and killed all the goblins without fight, how to do this? Or has this been fixed?

Stand next to the chest. Open your inventory, right-click on the Selûnite Prayer Sheet, and select 'Read'. NOTE: As a devoted follower of Shar, having Shadowheart read the Selûnite Prayer will not work. To open the Gilded Chest of Selûne, have another member of your party read the prayer.

A quick Google search later, have fun

I don't think they're asking how to open it.

OP, obvious question: have you tried right-clicking?

This one was really annoying to me. I found the piece of paper, read it with a failed check. Read it again with a successful check with Shadowheart. Tried opening the chest and gets half my HP blasted off. Had to read it AGAIN with Karlack and THEN I could open the chest. Some of the "solutions" to mysteries and problems in the game are so obscure and esoteric that you need to reload and try again and again until you FINALLY navigate the crooked path of doing things in the exaaaactly right order AND with the right character, and basically with no cues to go by. FINDING THE NOTE AND READING IT, REGARDLESS OF CHARACTER, SHOULD GIVE THE SOLUTION AUTOMATICALLY.

It's embedded in the D&D lore, but the problem is that new-to-D&D people at that stage of the game could easily not know enough of the lore to know how to solve that puzzle.

Some more obvious hints that explain the lore a bit better for those new to the fictional world would help, but simply reading the note with someone who worships the enemy deity logically wouldn't work in the lore since it's a security measure. Be glad that S-heart didn't get injured just from reading it thanks to her personal story arc.

Oh, I knew Shadowheart as a worshiper of Shar couldn't read it. It's just that the reaction of the game gave the impression that the scroll was now identified, and that anyone in the party could now use it when opening the chest. So after failing the identifying roll with my main character while Shadowheart identified it as a scroll of Selune, I chose ANOTHER character than Shadowheart to open the chest while having the note in their inventory. You'd think an entire party has enough synergy to use items identified by other party members, especially since that is true for many other parts of the game, such as anyone can get successful checks on the Druid story pillars, and then another character can use that deciphered information to convince Kagha to not turn on the druid grove.

So basically: Sometimes it works like that and other times it doesn't :P

I didn't ask how to open it, I asked how to put it in inventory

Open your own inventory and drag the chest into it. Easy as pie. You can do that with most items lying around.

It sounds like the OP wants to use the chest as a weapon while it is not disarmed?

At this point you should know that Shadowheart hates by duty anything related to Selune, she obviously will never read any prayer to her.

not once I thought tried make Shadowheart read it, so if you do she saying nothing? If she says nothing it's clearly a design polishing missing with an extra hint, otherwise it's a good trick design, and even more, let Shadowsheart make the prayer would have been a clear flaw.

Do you think I'm so stupid? I beat this game three times and you think I don't know how to pick up items? Try to play the CURRENT version of the game at least once and realize that it doesn’t work. Although, if you played all this time as a priest of Selune, then I understood this misunderstanding. Because only Selunite priests can pick up this chest.

That's new, are you sure? It's not an in game style to make chests like that.

So the chest doesn't attack you if you are Selunite priest, that is really fun.
