Alfira not coming to camp as Dark Urge
I finally started my Dark Urge playthrough.
After doing the ship, I cleared the first dungeon to free withers.
Then went to the grove. Talked to Zevlor first, then Dammon and Ethel, then went down to Khaga. Right after speaking with Khaga I beelined it for Alfira and inspired her to finish her song.
That was all before my first long rest.

I took a long rest afterwards but she didn't show up at camp.
When speaking to her she only says her line that "It's still a bit rough but I'll get it finished" and nothing else.
No other conversation options. It's now been two long rests and my party is level 4, I've been to the blighted village and the goblin camp and she still hasn't indicated that she would want to come to my camp.

Did I do something wrong? Is there a flag I haven't set yet?

It was my fourth Long Rest. I sometimes rest-spam to get rest events out of the way and to avoid things getting skipped.
Looks like you avoid resting too much. If you want to rest as little as possible, consider taking Partial Rests from time to time, maybe in combination with a Long Rest you need.

I've only played Durge once, and it happened quite early for me, but the Wiki says it just happens sometime during Act 1

Pretty sure I always take at least 3 or 4 long rests before that happens. Stop worrying. Rest some more. You might have other camp events queued up.

it's about when you get to the town with the gobs just a little down the road from the grove. Not sure if that's the actual trigger for it but it's about when it happens for me.

Thank you that was exactly it. It seems I wasn't resting enough.

I specifically played on tactician so the game will make me rest thanks to the increased combat difficulty but even that wasn't enough. It's not that I avoid resting. It's just that I send my party for a rest when I need to.
