Crown of Karkus and Orphic hammer question

So I spoke to Raphael, and he said if I give him the Crown, then he'll give me the Orphic hammer to free Orpheus. But without giving him the Crown, I got the hammer. Did I miss something?

Yep, ypu missed that the game allows you to do most things in several different ways. This doesn't suddenly stop in ACT 3.

So what do I do now? I don't need to obtain the crown?

If you go through with giving it to Raphael, I hope you enjoy the Epilogue that follows.

There's a theme to this game about why deals with Devils ALWAYS go south, and maybe this is the best example.

Dealing with the devil is known for being bad. Really bad in fact haha

If you've agreed to his deal, he'll give you the hammer now in exchange for the crown later, which will affect the epilogue of the game.

But if you want takebacksies... You can go into the House of Hope and steal the contract you signed with him, letting you keep the hammer without having to give him the crown. He won't be very happy about it through...

If you signed the contract then you have to give him the Crown otherwise you are doomed, unless you can find a way out of the contract. You should have a quest in your Journal called Escape the Deal. Do that.

Never make deals with devils. It's better just to take the hammer by force and kill Raphael, his fight is one of the fights I enjoyed most in the game, it's actually quite challenging.
