Option to dress feminine as a guy?
Hello, I was wondering if it's possible to wear clothing meant for female characters even though you created a male character in Bg3?

Please don't comment with mean stuff if you don't want to help, thank you.

Yes.

Every clothing item has a masculine and feminine body fitting version.
If you're looking for more fetishized 'sissy' or 'drag' wear I'd say go look for mods for this as the game doesn't really offer that. Outfits tend towards a gender neutral look.

if this answers your question mark the thread as answered and never glance at it again because mean stuff is inbound.

There are some pieces of clothing that actually look quite feminine even on masculine bodies, but you get those quite late in the game. For example Wavemother’s Robe.

Unfortunately, your cloth change depending on your body type. I'm not sure if there is a mod for this.
As the others said, anyone can wear anything. I had my first guy running around in Lae'zel's underwear.

In Act 3 there are a couple shops that have a bit more variety. For example Astarion is wearing a long toga in my current play through and my dude is wearing what's kind of like a short wrap, like a lil skirt. Those outfits also have some cool and pretty accessories with them.

Modding is probably the way to go though. I'm simply personally hesitant to mod in there until they stabilize the game more.

Under or over your power armour?

I think we're in the over-correction part of a needed correction.
Mainstream gaming was going a little too far with covering shallow gameplay with skimpy boob plate. Remember those mid twenty-tens MMO's with sexualised child races?
Hopefully things will settle down into a new equilibrium where sexy is ok for everyone but fun gameplay is more important.

whats a guy? You can have a 'womanly' breasted body & a dong or a he-man build with a slit. So you can dress 'like a woman' (female clothing styles on feminine main body) with a wiener, but you can't dress the he-man body (regardless of equipment) that way. Just to clarify what the above were trying to say.

Its easier to dress manly in real clothing. Its easier to dress womanly in underwear. A mannish look works pretty well just in lazel's pants, no shirt, for one early game option. Asterion already comes dressed feminine sort of -- its hard to draw the line between fop-nobility wear and girl clothes sometimes.

you only find like 3 outfit styles in act 1 not counting killing recruitable npcs or the creche.

You can.
It looks ridiculous but... You can...
I advise you focus on bonuses and AC though... Not looks... Tends to be more efficient.

A lot of historical medieval and renaissance clothing would have been seen as VERY "feminine" nowadays.

Most stuff is pretty gender neutral -- but in Act 3 you will get a lot more clothing choices to express yourself with.

The body types you can choose from are athletic smoking hot, smoking hot, and chubby halfling. If this is overcorrecting then everything is.

Alot of your choices are offset by the fact that pretty much all clothing and armor is awful. None of it looks particularly useful or comftorable. Its not Final Fantasy bad, but none of it is good. Lae'zel's armor is a perfect example. Functional looking? No. Sexy looking? Also no. All of your fashion options are along those lines. Its baffling.

You'd think it would be one or the other.
More camp outfits for the latter would be nice. A female friend of mine was lamenting at the lack of dresses.
