Is Yenna Broken?
Second playthrough where I have seen her never be able to progress past the dialogue that starts with 'I've got my own paring knife..' and she just never proceeds further to the point where she makes and sells meals anymore. :(

A character that turns up at the start of Act 3.

She was broken in my last 2 playthroughs, never went past that dialog, never sold soups (hotfix 15 playthroughs*)

*paring, not "pairing". Means "peeling".

(Since everything else has already been said.)

I've been assuming that's her final dialogue if she's not being replaced by Orin, which is not a guaranteed to happen effect.

Normally (as in on release day) you meet her when entering Act 3, when you rest, she appears in camp as a safety net for when you don't have companions for Orin to nab. After 2nd rest, she has a little shop near your camp fire selling soups. And if you get the whole Orin thing going she can be kidnapped and rescued (and acts as shop-keeper again then) assuming you have zero nabbable companions in camp.

But ever since my playthroughs on release this has been broken and she never sold me her soups ever again. Which sucks, made me always smile when she says her catchphrase ;P

I must stop getting the penthouse above the Elvensong tavern cause I never seem to get the in back-alley camp. For me after the first chat she'll appear in the outskirts camp if I need a long rest before hitting the city proper and the tavern. Yenna got replaced by orin the first playthrough (Yenna not kidnapped but gone) while Orin informs me about who she kidnapped.

Yenna was fine in my run. Orin kidnapped her and I rescued her. Her cat is dead and she makes pies. She did disappear in my previous run when Lae'zel was kidnapped. I always assumed Orin killed her. Her cat is kind of cute but I still like the scenario more where she lives and the cat dies.
