Funny enough (or not), sister Lidwin sells a rotten carrot and a potato, there's a hill giant's finger in the chest near her, 3 of the five instruments of the game are around the floor, except a lyre and... a flute and inside the box outside of her room there's a horn. not to say about bottles and quills around. I'm sure i didn't look around enough, however.

I killed some of the named sisters and did not find any of the "spoils". I also explored the entire location for more clues, but nothing. Is there any purpose on this or it's just dark humor joke?

There's a lot of these awesome lore bits that add flavour to the world around you. Most likely just for humour purposes.

In the tavern close by there's a "banned from the bar" registry where people have been banned by simply being too boring.

And a certain "Pale Elf" has been banned for life.
