is there any point to go beyond 20 AC ?
When it comes to armor ?
is 21 very important compare to 20 AC? or i should just focus on having 20 ac on every character?

I focus on killing all the enemies before they attack, however, usually I only have my melee fighter with a good AC. The rest of my characters just need some sort of ranged attack mitigation or a good shield spell.

Best armor to your melee characters. Not to much issue on Casters. Your not going to be standing toe to toe and fighting with them.

so you only actually play half the game . Companions are a giant part of it.

Every point is a flat 5% reduction in enemy accuracy. There aren't really any general breakpoints, until you're getting into the 30s (since I don't think there are any enemies that have >+11/13 to hit)

20 is decent, it's not super good but it's not bad either.

I got my Monk to 26, Enemies can have high hit chance.
It all depends on your difficulty setting of course. On Tact I saw enemy 25 rolls quite often before I upped it to 26, so he only got hit by high acc and high rolls

im on Honored in act 3, but i have 2 Mithril armors on two characters, and the Mithril Helmet on 3rd character, so pretty much 3 characters immune to crits

Shoulda made the shields, at this point adamantine armor gets outperformed by a variety of other options, but the shields stay basically BIS for the entire game.

Ah triple barb makes it a bit harder, though you'd prolly get more out of armor of agility at this point, sold by the armor vendor by sorcerous sundries.

I'd still go the armour because its good through all of the rest of act 1 and act 2 only replaced in act 3, and the shields are very replaceable. But anyway back on topic.

True that in BG3 immunity to crits make it like a normal attack that can miss, but enemies can just roll higher then 20 if they have a +5 or +10 chance to hit, I have seen one enemy roll a 32 to hit.

Higher AC is better as it just means you get hit less, and going above 20 is worth it, but its always up to the player :)
