I followed the guide, all the requirements are met, and YET she doesn't appeart in act 2 trial.

Join the club. I have a theory though not any concrete evidence for it.

I think her acquisition is being borked by the infamous "BG3 Mod Fixer". And the problem is, aside from the standalone, it's embedded in lots of other mods, too.

I think it also borked "Minthara acquisition" for me, too. I followed all the steps in the guides to a tee. But she wasn't on trial at Moonrise. Just the same old goblins. Then I resorted to sheepthara. Because Daughter of Lolth is not an option for me. And you told me IIRC about Debug Book, which appears to work, but I didn't know about it then.

What I know for certain is mods containing it bork the Epilogue. That can be fixed on Windows. with Script Extender. Alas, not on Mac. It also appears to be borking quest item acquisition for Hotfix 16. This is why I say that thing needs to die. My GUESS is this is a third problem being created by it.

I think so, because I saw a Bug Report about this also being an issue at Nexus.

I don't know why the F this thing is called a "fixer" when all it does is create problems. The Bug Reports page for "fixer" is still about 10 pages.

My problem is that she is actually there when i enter the room, but as soon as the cinematic starts, she disappear.
I even tried to reinstall daughter of lolth to summon her and kill her like they suggest on the mod page, but if i do that, even if i am far away from moonrise, a cinematic starts with ketheric ordering zrell to kill me. Lol.
Idk what's happening, i had bugs before but this one never

I guess it's only the mdos that affect her. Which, by the way, i un installed before this playtrough, so it's something else

The pointers are all towards your theory to be correct.

It is because of what the mod fixer is supposed to do. So there is no surprise with the outcome.

His theory might not be correct as i do not use mod fixer and never used it before, so even if it's a borked uninstall that is causing this, it's not from this mod

In all seriousness, BG3 Mod Fixer is EMBEDDED in other mods where you might not think it would be.

Here's an example. It's embedded in Basket Full of Equipment, which I just saw the other day.

The Windows Mod Manager can actually "see" if the Mod fixer is inside other mods; the Mac Mod Manager can't do this. (As I keep saying, the guy who wrote it is a blessing to Mac players to the game, and I'm not gonna complain.)

So I have no way to check myself - gotta use other methods.

You can check it if you use the MOD MANAGER. If a mod contains mod fixer, you get a message stating so. I do not.

No, the Mac Mod Manager can't show this to you, but the WINDOWS Mod Manager can. Also, Vortex cannot do this (nor auto download and update Script Extender). This is why folks on the Windows side say not to use Vortex.

There is even a tutorial for how to remove the mod fixer from mods that contain it. Bottom line, it requires unpacking the PAK file ... etc etc ... I think it's beyond the "tech level" of most mod users. Plus it's laborious and could take a while.

As I've said, honestly, mod authors should stop embedding it, and/or recommending it to folks as a prerequisite. It's both redundant and counterproductive.

Honor mode run here. Halsin got killed before I was able to recruit him from spiders who can magically shoot around corners through solid wall. So I consoled myself knowing that at least I can recruit Minthara since I have never managed to do that.

Knocked her out after engaging with "temp hostile" and she was not at Moonrise Towers, just the goblins, no way to reload, and no way to stop the shadow curse now.

Never have run a mod, the entire Minthara quest script is bugged and now I have to see Halsin dead in my camp for the entire play through but unable to revive him for some garbage reasoning.
