Dark Urge act 2 help?

I'm finally in act 2, and I'm playing a durge character, and then the scene of your evil servant appears, and they... want me to kill Karlach and she calls my durge her love but - I'm not even romancing her ;-; I'm setting my sights on Astarion, and I don't even know how to change it to Astarion and not Karlach
... Any ideas on what I should do?

So by the time Scleritas shows up in Act 2 you should already be locked in with one to two companions for their beginning romance. It should default to your romanced companion with the highest affinity, which probably means you did something to initiate with Karlach. Once you're in Act 2 most of the romances are locked after their 'official' Act 2 scene

Edit: The exceptions being Halsin/Minthara as they can come on to you later (Act 3 iirc)

Kill Karlach, of course. You are a Dark Urge, after all.

It is possible to get Karlach's affinity high without her clearly stating her assumptions until later. There was one playthrough (and only one) where she seemed to be under the assumption that my (we have bigger problems than banging) character was interested in her.

If you want the prize and you're going evil, you can kill her for it and your Astarion affinity will remain. There will be only one more opportunity that's far more difficult to achieve much later in the game and also leaving your character with limited opportunity to make fun use of the prize.

Resist and break up with Karlach if you want a redemption arc. No idea what will happen with A.'s romance.
