Lost alot of Gold

Hello I noticed that I lost alot of Gold during Act 3 somehow.
When reaching Act 3 I had excatly 20k Gold in my Storage. I am storing most my money there since it does get heavy if I keep it in my party. I had around 30k Gold overall 8k at least in my party inventory.
Now I was a little bit shopping around 4k Gold and wanted to restock my parties pocket money.
But I noticed I only have 9k in my Storage left, so 11k Gold simply vanished ? I mean its not that bad I don't buy alot of stuff but I did alot of stuff to get so much Gold.... And now more than half of my hard earned Gold just disappeard.
Is this a bug ? Or can someone steal my Gold in my Storage in the camp ?

Just a guess, if you travel back to act 1/2 locations and check the chest from there, if it might show up, I heard some people say that found things.

Did you spin the wheel a few times at the circus? That's 500g per spin, I didn't realize it until I lost 2500g.

You can't travel back once you're in Act 3.

I am sorry for your ban ? And no I did spin it no more than twice and since I am a bard and noticed he was cheating. So I cheated back with my second spin and got send to the jungle.

Anyway I guess I got my money back I noticed that when I trade I have way more money than shown in my inventory and my storage. Money in Inventory is 10k and 11k in Storage so it should be only 21k. But when I trade with traders I got 32k Gold to spend. I guess my money got somehow glitched and just isn't shown properly anymore.
Now in any case I see now my lost 11k again haha

This is definitely a bug.

Ive experienced it also. 10k just vanishing in A3 for some reason. I've also had gold not correctly displaying its value, either. It'll say something like "2224" in Astarion's inventory, then when I deposit it into a box that doesn't have gold, I end up with 3k+.

Game's just scuffed with bugs.

and you have a game with mods or with no mods ? Since I have mods active although only faces and hairs.
I didn't want to mess with my game to much and didn't test it without mods since I am pretty far now and cannot stop playing :D

I did find it. It simply doesn't show it correctly anymore. But when trading I see the correct amount it seems.

when your game crashes, it boots back up with your settings defaulted and when you load your save the game thinks its a new game so it spawns a new chest and gives you the tutorials again

I never crashed with this game. So far it runs really stable.

if you bring back the stolen gold to the vaults from the evil trader that was with the stone lord, it takes 10k from your pile of gold instead of the sack of stolen gold, so check that (?) Even got me on 2nd play when I forgot it does that and was not pleased at first.

hi I just finished that mission. And no that was not it. I just paid 10k and still got my 30k now. At least when I went trading. It seems that my money got glitched and now my current amount isn't shown properly anymore in inventory or storage.

Most likely the inventory not loading in fully issue.
So sort your inventory(in char or chest whereever you store it), or just slide down, even though it should show a half filled inventory page as the last one (where you see items) it actually is not, the game just fails to load them usually at the first time. It is a known bug since EA, if you slide it down a bit further or use autosort that usually fixes it.
