Lost alot of Gold
Hello I noticed that I lost alot of Gold during Act 3 somehow.
When reaching Act 3 I had excatly 20k Gold in my Storage. I am storing most my money there since it does get heavy if I keep it in my party. I had around 30k Gold overall 8k at least in my party inventory.
Now I was a little bit shopping around 4k Gold and wanted to restock my parties pocket money.
But I noticed I only have 9k in my Storage left, so 11k Gold simply vanished ? I mean its not that bad I don't buy alot of stuff but I did alot of stuff to get so much Gold.... And now more than half of my hard earned Gold just disappeard.
Is this a bug ? Or can someone steal my Gold in my Storage in the camp ?

You are not wrong about that. Just slightly not on point. It is just that the yellow one is the main one, green, red, blue are multiplayer characters one. An additional green one appearing despite you not playing multiplayer occurs quite often due to a UUID misinterpretation by the game. No biggue.

"You will now be able to access certain quest-related items on the spot, even if they are currently in the camp chest or in the inventory of a companion who is waiting at camp."

I wonder if this has far-and-wide consequences. (It seems that many, many seemingly-unrelated mods and modded saves ran afoul of this change.) I wonder if this is causing something weird for currency stored in that chest.

It's difficult to make claims on what happened, but there's a possible avenue for it.

I usually just distributed the weight of the gold. Whenever I swap companions (I try to keep a party of 4), I redistribute what was shifted to the MC from the dropped companion.

(Just be glad they didn't do the fractional currency where those currencies have their own weights despite being worth less than gold currency. The prices are about 100x what they should be in D&D 5e, but that's probably because gold is the only currency in BG3, and it looks like they've made gold 100x less in value to compensate.)

So it could be a bug ? Well I will just pretend someone stole it...

That does sound like it could be what mods which make their own modifications to Inventory and/or quest items run afoul off.
And no that'd not make it a bug, on the game's end at least.
It'd be a new feature that the unsupported mods aren't accounting for and thus are breaking the game.

Don't blindly assume something to be a bug unless the problem occurs in the unmodded game as well.

There is more than one chest? Never noticed that.

Have to pay attention, since in this first playthrough of mine i decided to pick and catalog every single book on the game (lore books) and that is taling a hell of space.

Just to clear up the Adventurer's Chest statements. I save a ton of stuff and don't sell anything with traits. At the end of my first run, I had a permanent THREE Adventurer's Chests in my camp. Don't play Multi-Player, don't use Mods. So it IS possible to have more than one legitimate Adventurer's Chest. It all depends on how much stuff you have stored in them.

I just use some hairs and face mods ? Thats strange for causing anything to the inventory itself

Well, first step is to disable them all and see if you can find the Gold on any character, bag or Traveler's Chest.

Worst case is that the Mod somehow dropped it somewhere. Might need to check an older save and see if it is there, if not found anywhere else.

Yeah I checked some saves before. The Gold was still there. I won't start from them because its been some hours away now. Its nothing game breaking to me. I just accept its gone somehow. Also I have alot of loot to sell off anyway. Just made some good trade with Dammon 5k more again ^^

Are you sure you did not accidentally purchase access to Raphael's place for 20k?
