Barcus wroot quest bugged?

I saved hi, spoke to him in the forge pre killing nere, he disappeared (didn't die, disappeared) and now he isn't at the Inn and this quest/rest of his story is now ♥♥♥♥♥♥. So lame. I can save wulbren but they'll never get to reunite and he won't be in act 3....

IIRC, he turns up at the Inn only if you persuade him to stay in your camp. Doesn't affect Act 3.

Are you on PC or Mac?
Game bug related to this was fixed on PC in #16 but the Mac update is 2 weeks delayed.
If you're on PC try disabling Mods, or at minimum BG3 Mod Fixer and if present the Party limit extender. Those are the two most common culprits for these kinds of issues now and removing them has a high success rate.

I'm on PC but don't have any mods enabled. Maybe it was fixed after I did grymforge??

Yeah but he won't be in act 3 and I won't get the satisfaction of completing his little subplot
