Amulet of Elemental Torment (SPOILERS)
So Larian decided to place this amulet from act 1 to act 3. Just why did you do this? Just to have no fun with mage in act 1 anymore?) Or maybe this amulet is so OP it becomes balanced only in act 3? And for it you should kill Hope now. Great decision, guys. Making these ♥♥♥♥ balance decisions looks very similar to what devs made in pillars of eternity. They just nerfed to the ground all interesting artifacts and builds. This is a single player game FFS.

Well they didn't nerf it they just moved it, likely cuz it's effects were stronger then intended for thay early or it had some unintended pairings. So moving it to a later act could be a way to say "yes, but later" it seems likely it is in conjuction with magic missile builds being jacked, and even more so if you can cause all the magic missiles to spread the effects of what surface you are on.

Let's be honest. Gameplay in Baldur becomes interesting precisely because of the artifacts and the way they either complement or completely change the mechanics of abilities. The first 5 levels of wizard were interesting due to the synergy of artifacts that can be obtained in the first act. This amulet did not just give you bonuses, but required you to prepare the battlefield. These are the difficulties that ultimately gave you an advantage. In the 3rd act, it has practically no effect on the gameplay. Moreover, the conditions for obtaining it are absurd. I want to enjoy the game starting from the first act, and not from the third, because someone decided that a single-player game requires constant balance adjustments.

I don't disagree but I did see how people were using it with magic missile which could be problematic to balance. Like if you stand in poison and shoot 5 or more missiles no saving throw cuz magic missile always hits now the entire field is poisoned lol crazy but also funny.
Same with burning, or acid.

It is a shame it's so far in act 3 under hope though I agree.
