How to repair relationship with Mol?

I'm playing a Durge run, when I got to the grove and the Teifling kid robbed one of Aridins men I just stood and watched as he hit the kid as I'm leaning into her psychotic tenancies. Afterwards I did provide the opportunity for the kid to escape. After rescuing the other kid from the harpies I went to get the quest to steal the idol for Mol but now she hates me for letting one of her kids get hit. My only save is just before I save Mikron from the harpies, is there any way or specific order I can do things in to make friends with her or will she hate me for the rest of the game now?

have you saved Arabella yet ? try that and see if she'll give you the quest to steal the Idol.

you can also try and let the Mattis and other tiefling pick pocket you and don't be mean to them in response.

No, Arabella is dead, I chose the Durge option that makes her run. I only have the one save at the point where everything is already set in stone. I've done the Arabella and the pick pocket. But not The Harpy kid and the lucky ring scam. I understand her being mad I stood and watched one kid get hit without intervening, but surely rescuing a kid about to get killed by harpies is enough to make amends. And as for Arabella, when I've done that Durge option in the past it has had no negative relationship consequences with Mol.

you have to do a certain amount of nice things for Mol to give you the quest to steal the idol. save the boy from Harpies, save Arabella, and side with the Tiefling thief.

i guess the only thing left for you to be trying is the interaction with Mattis

I did that beofre I went to her, as a sorcerer I recognised that the ring wasn't magical and talked through with the kid and never tried to buy anything, ended positively but never had to try catching the brother pickpocket me. Would it make a difference if I caught him then let him go?

Also what about respecing to get friends and casting that on her before I speak to her?

i don't think Friends will help but feel free to try. I would just load your save before Aradin and the thief.

help the Thief against Aradin and save the boy from the harpies should be enough to get the quest from Mol, even if you let Arabella die.

You don't have to save Arabella as DUrge to get Mol on side. I play DUrges and she died in this save. I think what I did for Mattis and the pickpocket kid was have Astarion talk to her and I think all I had to do was tell her that maybe she wasn't cut out for that line of work (something like that) I had a rogue specific dialog I used. There is a dialog you can pick that will be neutral,so you don't have to be mean to the kid or let her steal.

I didn't have the other kid in this save because Aradin and his group left. I think they left when Zevlor punched him, so I didn't have the scene with the other kid stealing from the human. I did save the little boy from the Harpies, though.

Mol still asked me to steal the idol, which I did, and she gave me the ring. So I don't think you have to do everything, but at least not be mean to any of the kids you do interact with.

I don't have a save before then, just a save before the harpy kid and the ring kid, everything else is now set in stone

I was never mean personally to any of the kids, I used a dialog option to talk down Zevlor and Aradin so I had him and his group in the grove. I even help the kid escape after they got smacked, but because I just stood and watched Mol won't talk to me now.
