.net desktop runtime error

i've tried everything but the game wont launch it keeps telling me i need to install .net desktop runtime. even though i already have it installed. and when i press the install button on the error. nothing happens. i want to play this game so bad but it refuses to let me.

Enter this command in a Command window and see if it is indeed installed:

dotnet --list-runtimes

Or, you could just get it from Microsoft website and install it. Won't hurt anything on your Win10 or Win11 PC even if it is already installed.

I tried redownloading it like six times and it was a successful download but it won’t let me launch anyway

nevermind i didnt read hard enough, it shows this error when i type that in A fatal error occurred, the required library hostfxr.dll could not be found in [C:\Program Files\dotnet\host\fxr\6.0.26]

Either use this or/and RevoUninstaller to remove the faulty .NET you have

Then download the latest version 8 from the official website.
