That said, I suspect Shadow Sorcerer will have the inherent ability to make himself, and I suspect the rest of the party, immune to the Shadow Curse. (Though there are now also a bunch of other mods to provide that other than the "traditional" methods in the game.)
I know it's a bit too much to hope for.. I just don't want Larian to half-ass this. :\
Paladin Oaths ... yeah, they kinda have to, given they are implementing the Oath-breaking system.
The Warlock Patrons do occasionally chime up, but my understanding is (I never main a Warlock so I haven't seen it myself) not much. Those who main warlocks say it's very minimal (it's not like your Great Old One Patron comments much on all the Far Realms stuff you encounter, and you would expect them to). and the thing is some Warlock subclasses aren't patron based. A Hexblade is not a 'patron'.
It's never been the case for any Sorcerer subclass.
