if you want to always succeed maybe wait for someone to mod in cheating dice so you can always roll 20s or whatever you want to roll.
If you don't have karmic dice enabled, it indeed is just a bad case of bad luck.
Although I see you were using the cheater dice on accident, and yeah that setting sucks.
you people think you sound smart but you are actually sound like a jackass who doesn't know what they are talking about
There's a difference between "unlikely", "improbable" and "near impossible". Also, there's a statistical notion of "impossibility", usually taken as "improbable squared". If we take OP's example then roll 10 is (I mean should be) 55% success chance, including 1 auto-fail/20 auto-success. To roll that 100 times is order of magnitude of -26...-27; Quick google lookup on "probability of a meteorite hitting a person" reveals it's about 1 in 840,000,000 which is roughly order of magnitude of -9 or -10
To illustrate how impossible order of magnitude of -26 is: it happening is as probable as a meteor hitting a person on Earth 3 times in a row at the same time. So short version: when you're clocking in past your 10th reload on the same roll, it's time for some skeptics. When you're past 20th reload like OP you know things aren't "just random".
concur, it should be off. The last I played, If I remember correctly, it wasn't even located on the page correctly.
It's burried in the middle. Hey, this important feature that can completely change your game, where going to stick it one of the half dozen option tabs and furthermore hide it 6/10 down the page.
Personally think it would be better off and somewhere very early have a "hey, did you know..." to turn it on. And put it further up on the page in the settings.
But hey I thought there should have been some way to hide that ugly mini map in the corner so I can see the pretty good looking game better ages ago, so what do I know.
It isn't, and Frank would be very upset with you if he knew you were making such wild accusatons.
edit, oh i think i know what you are saying now, you are talking about the reloading not the karmic dice
Thank you Rusty. Looks like the troll brigade got in here (the its just rng rofl git gud crowd, you know what you are). Your answer helped me and I hope it helps others. The setting should be set to off to start or at least called out that its being used. That was majorly frustrating.
