Too many carbs in oats!
Barley better be one of them!
Currently got Ancients, Devotion and Oathbreaker with Vengeance assumed to come.
It is by far the most powerful sub-class; Vow of Enmity for example gives you advantage on all attack rolls against the creature you’ve chosen for 10 rounds – this is AMAZING on boss fights. The rest of the Vengeance features are very good giving you even more attacks and mobility.
So Oath of Vengeance Paladins start out very strong and continue to get better as they level.
As for EA currently, I think it's rather interesting they went and made an Oathbreaker option if your Oath is broken. Some people got whiny about how "easy" it was to break their Oath, which I found funny since I played a Paladin exactly how I assumed I should and the only moment I broke my Oath was the exact moment I expected to do it. People trying to play a Paladin class by outright attacking people when they feel like it and then can't understand why they are breaking their Oath is cute.
Vengeance may very well be there at release, but until Larian shows something on it, or until release we don't have full confirmation of that, so we will see. I'd like to simply assume it will be a thing, but as I said I'm not going to put myself out on a branch like that only to have it snap off. Few people that do that ever blame themselves for that poor choice.
