Well, to be perfectly clear and transparent... the Drider appears as part of the main story. Other than that, I remember maybe five things I would classify as spiders with my arachnophobia.
I second that, I wouldn't have been able to finish Hogwarts Legacy without an Arachnophobia mod. However, on rare occasions I can handle them. For example in Dragon Age, I would always zoom the camera out as far as humanly possible whenever they were being fought, and that worked. I also get hyper-cautious when I know they might be around. None or modded out are still preferred, much like the OP.
In BG3, I handled the Drider fine, same for the goblin camp ones, but I was in a hurry to leave that part of the camp. In 5e DnD, we've fought spiders, and despite the fact that once again, I tried to keep my character as far as possible, I also handled those decently.
Yeah, 10/10 suggestion...
