Good story class for good dark urge
At some point plan to play a good dark urge who ends up with Shadow heart and living with her parents. Is there any good class that will help for this story?

I don't think the class really makes any difference to the Durge story. You can just pick a class you'll enjoy playing or one that you think combines well with Shart (assuming you plan to have her in the party most of the time).

The default Durge class of sorcerer can combo really well with a cleric if you pick Storm sorcerer or one of the lightning draconic bloodlines. Create Water from the cleric to soak things, then fry them with lightning.

If you don't mind changing Shart's domain, a Tempest Cleric and lightning-heavy sorcerer would synergize very well.

If you sleep right after the crash, I believe there is a special scene with Dark Urge that essentially gives a reason why Dark Urge could be any class you pick. I've always thought Paladin Dark Urge was an interesting concept in trying to be good despite your heritage. Selunite Clerics also get special dialogues with Shadowheart and the game is not so difficult that you couldn't both be clerics.

Paladin & Cleric have the most "incentive" to be good. Most of the other classes are inherently neutral. The only one with an evil influence is Warlock, but Wyll is essentially a "good guy" warlock.

Well, from a mechanical standpoint a good Durge gets nothing, so no sinergies to think about, just story.

I personally would make a paladin, either Vengeance (hellbent into destroying the very evil that possessed you, etc) or oath of ancients, in love with life and nature (really would make her parents proud). Both hare great and also good basis for multiclasses in case you want something else in your party.

My headcanon is this: There was no good Durge before the Mind Flayer ship, they are a killer. So I think Rogue Assassin is probably the best class for Durge to start with. But Withers can help Durge find themselves anew, so changing their class multiple times at Withers is actually part of the story. Do what thou wilt.

Going by actions and opinions Wyll is by FAR the most good guy in the whole game classes do not need to influence a person even if they can. Yes ofc something like a paladin has a oath to keep but some oaths like vengeance more or less tell you to be a murder hobo and have fun with it.

Sadly the dark urge form reduces your Charisma to absolute crap while active which will mean your abilities as a paladin, sorcerer, bard or warlock suffer for using it.

So if your going evil with it its not great using those classes.
They work fine for redemption dark urge though as you likely won't get that form.

You can't cast while shapeshifted either, to my knowledge the one and only racial that WORKS is halfling luck to reroll 1s.

Given they said a 'good' run, I'm assuming that form probably won't be relevant anyway.

I wouldn't really recommend dark urge in general, it's poorly written and forces a lot of things in the game that make it less interesting
