The default Durge class of sorcerer can combo really well with a cleric if you pick Storm sorcerer or one of the lightning draconic bloodlines. Create Water from the cleric to soak things, then fry them with lightning.
If you don't mind changing Shart's domain, a Tempest Cleric and lightning-heavy sorcerer would synergize very well.
I personally would make a paladin, either Vengeance (hellbent into destroying the very evil that possessed you, etc) or oath of ancients, in love with life and nature (really would make her parents proud). Both hare great and also good basis for multiclasses in case you want something else in your party.
So if your going evil with it its not great using those classes.
They work fine for redemption dark urge though as you likely won't get that form.
You can't cast while shapeshifted either, to my knowledge the one and only racial that WORKS is halfling luck to reroll 1s.
